More on Alice

Continuing on the Alice in Wonderland theme. This is the latest in the series I am printing for Wendy for the cat show. I am really impressed with this model. It may be hard to see from the photograph but this model has the most amazing eyes. They were built in three layers to give real depth. These prints have really challenged my 3D printer and, as a consequence, have lead me to tuning the hardware and software settings for…

Down the Rabbit Hole

Down the Rabbit Hole

This is what you do when you have a 3D printer and 10 days off work Every component is a separate filament colour. Lots of filament changes. It didn’t go totally without problems! Ribs and Slaw for Easter

Ribs and Slaw for Easter

After the terrible dry ribs I cooked at Christmas, I think I have been avoiding cooking them. Last weekend, well Easter Monday, I decided to have another crack at it. I went back to basics and grabbed my Chris Grove Kamado cookbook. I did use a different rub than what was suggested, but other than that, stayed pretty true to the recipe. I also decided to go back to wrapping the ribs in foil halfway through the cook. I setup…
